In nature, all three methods of heat transfer are used: heat conduction, convention and radiation.
In everyday life, thermal conductivity is most often used. Heat is transferred from the stove to the pot of water.
The technique uses convection. Convention is the process of spreading heat by mixing colder and warmer masses, liquids and gases through thermal mixing.
