Moving evenly, a student weighing 40 kg lifted a load weighing 45 kg at a height of 3 m to the 2nd floor of a school assignment, lifted a load weighing 8 kg to the same height, which of them did a great job.

Let us denote by m – the mass of the load lifted by the 1st student, then the work done by him will be equal to: A1 = (M1 + m) * g * h where M1 is the mass of the student, g is the acceleration of gravity, h is the height.
The work done by the 2nd student is defined in the same way:
A2 = (M2 + m2) * g * h = (45 + 8) * 10 * 3 = 10800 J.
It is not possible to calculate A1 if there is no cargo mass.
