Fish have two types of fins – paired and non paired.
The paired fins are located on the chest and abdomen and are called the pectoral and abdominal fins, respectively, and help the fish to maintain balance.
Unpaired fins are the caudal, anal and dorsal fins, which are used to move the fish forward.
