Name the peoples who lived on the territory of the Austrian Empire.
During the period of its greatest prosperity, the Austrian Empire occupied the territory from Bukovina and Galicia in the east (Chernivtsi and Ternopil) and to Tyrol in the west, from the Sudetenland on the border with Germany and in the south to the city of Dubrovnik near Montenegro. In the south lived the southern Slavs: Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians, Serbs.
In the north and east of the empire lived Czechs, Moravans, Ukrainians, Romanians, Slovaks.
