Name the structural features of photosynthetic tissue.

In plants, photosynthesis is mainly responsible for the leaves and sometimes the stem. But the process itself takes place in certain elements of the cell. They are called chloroplasts. There can be several dozen of them in one cell. They synthesize glucose, which is necessary for the plant as a source of energy. Oxygen is also released during this biochemical process. Three elements are needed to support photosynthesis: water, carbon dioxide and sunlight. Also, during photosynthesis, a pigment is released – chlorophyll. It gives the plant a green color.
