Over the centuries, the Romans conquered vast territories in Europe, Africa and Asia. So the Roman Empire included such lands: Gaul, Italy, Spain, North Africa (including Egypt), Greece, Macedonia, Illyria, Panonia, Syria, Palestine and the lands of Asia Minor.
