Napoleon is difficult to classify as good or bad people. During the reign of Napoleon, the borders of France were significantly expanded. This emperor was able to conquer almost the entire continent. During his reign, the Civil Code was adopted, which the emperor considered his main achievement. It was a document that spoke about the inviolability of private property, about equality between people. At the same time, many people and soldiers died during the wars of conquest. As a result, after the war with Russia, France still returned to its former borders. All this speaks of a waste of resources.
