Numbered test tubes contain solutions of glucose, protein, acetic acid, to determine these substances.

To determine what kind of substance is in which test tube, it is necessary to carry out qualitative reactions. Glucose is a carbohydrate, aldose – to determine it, we will carry out reactions with Cu (OH) 2 – (blue color of the solution) and with Ag2O (NH3) – a silver mirror. There are also several qualitative reactions to protein: cysteine xanthoprotein biuret. After carrying out these reactions, we will define a test tube with glucose and protein => in the remaining there will be acetic acid.
