On an inclined plane (its h = 3m and l = 12m), a load weighing 40 kg was lifted, acting on it with a force of F = 120H

On an inclined plane (its h = 3m and l = 12m), a load weighing 40 kg was lifted, acting on it with a force of F = 120H. Find the efficiency of the inclined plane

Mechanical work is defined as
A = F * S,
F – Force acting on the body
S – the path traversed by the body under the influence of a force in the direction of this force.
According to the condition of the task, the work was done
A1 = F * l = 120 H * 12 m = 1440 J
Since a body weighing m = 40kg must be lifted to a height of h = 3m, then the useful work is equal to:
A2 = m * g * h,
where g = 10 m / s ^ 2 is the acceleration of gravity
A2 = 40 kg * 10 m / s ^ 2 * 3 m = 1200 J
Efficiency = (A2 / A1) * 100% = 1200 * 100% / 1440 = 83.33%
