| Let’s take advantage of the fact that any two adjacent angles add up to a deployed angle, or, in other words, the sum of the values of two adjacent angles is always 180 °.
Let us denote by x the value of the unknown adjacent angle.
In the formulation of the condition for this task, it is reported that one of the two given adjacent angles is 46 °, therefore, we can draw up the following equation:
x + 46 = 180,
solving which, we get:
x = 180 – 46 = 134 °.
We find how much the 2nd angle is greater than the 1st:
134 – 46 = 88 °.
Answer: 88 °.
