2. According to the problem statement, one of the legs is 2 times smaller than the other. Let’s say AC = 2AB.
3. AC² + AB² = BC² (by the Pythagorean theorem).
4. Substitute in this expression 2AB instead of AC:
4AB² + AB² = 15.
5AB² = 15.
AB = √3 units of measurement.
AC = 2√3 units of measurement.
Answer: leg AB = √3 units, leg AC = 2√3 units.
