One of the outer corners of the triangle is 136 °. Find the angles of a triangle

One of the outer corners of the triangle is 136 °. Find the angles of a triangle that are not adjacent to it if one of these angles is greater than the other 28 degrees.

Knowing the value of the external angle, we find the value of the adjacent angle of the triangle:

180 – 136 = 44о.

Let x be the value of one of the angles of the triangle, not adjacent to the given outer, then the value of the second – x + 28. The sum of the angles of the triangle is 180 °, then we get the equation and solve it:

x + x + 28 + 44 = 180,

2x = 180 – 72,

x = 108: 2 = 54.

We found out that the value of one required angle is 54о, then the value of the second one is 54 + 28 = 82о.
