Since a parallelogram has the same lengths of opposite sides, its perimeter is equal to:

Ravsd = 2 * (AB + AD).

36 = 2 * (X + 2 * X).

6 * X = 36.

X = 36/6 = 6 cm.

AB = CD = 6 cm.

BC = AD = 2 * 6 = 12 cm.
