Let the perimeter of the parallelogram be x, then side a = x-57, b = x-63
Perimeter = 2a + 2b
Let’s substitute:
x = 2 (x-57) +2 (x-63)
x = 2x-114 + 2x-126
-3x = -240
x = 80
Answer: perimeter = 80
