One side of the triangle is 10 cm, the second is 4 cm shorter, and the third is 5 cm longer than the first. What is the perimeter of a triangle?

1) We find out how long the second side of the triangle is, if, according to the condition, it is said that it is 4 cm shorter than the first side, and the first side is 10 cm long.
10 – 4 = 6 cm.
2) We find out the length of the third side of the triangle if it is said that it is 5 cm longer than its first side, and the length of the first side is 10 cm.
10 + 5 = 15 cm.

10 + 6 + 15 = 31 cm.
