One side of the triangle is 3 dm 6 cm long, and the other is twice as long. The length of the third side is 4 dm 3 cm less than the sum of the lengths of the first two sides. Find the perimeter of the triangle.

4dm 3cm = 43cm
1) 36 • 2 = 72 (cm) -length of the second side
2) 36 + 72 = 108 (cm) -length of two sides
3) 108-43 = 65 (cm) -the length of the third side
4) 36 + 72 + 65 = 173 (cm) -perimeter
Answer: 173 cm perimeter or 17 dm 3 cm perimeter
