| Let’s call this triangle ABC,
AB = 3m 4dm 8cm;
BC = 29 dm;
AC = 4m 2cm.
Let’s convert all units of measurement to dm:
1 m = 10 dm,
1 dm = 10 cm, then:
3 m 4 dm 8 cm = 30 dm + 4 dm + 0.8 dm = 34.8 dm,
4 m 2 cm = 40 dm + 0.2 dm = 40.2 dm.
The perimeter is the sum of the lengths of all sides, in this case a triangle.
P = AB + BC + AC;
P = 34.8 dm + 29 dm + 40.2 dm = 104 dm.
Answer: 104 dm.
