All organisms feed on organic substances, but there is a group of creatures that do not need ready-made organic substances, they are able to synthesize them themselves. These organisms include most of the plants and cyanobacteria. In their cells, they contain a special pigment, chlorophyll, with which these organisms carry out photosynthesis. In the daytime phase, oxygen is formed, and in the nighttime, such an important organic compound as glucose. Therefore, these organisms play a very important role in nature and human life.
