Out of 7 coins, one is false. It is heavier than the others. How can you find a false coin for: 1) one weighing, 2) two weighings on a scale without weights?

To find a fake coin, which is heavier than the rest, you need to choose 6 out of 7 coins, divide them into two piles of 3 coins and put them on the scales. 1) If the balance remains in equilibrium, then the remaining seventh coin is fake. 2) Otherwise, if one pile is heavier than the other, then the counterfeit coin is among the three coins in the heavier pile. To identify it, we take any two coins from this pile of three coins and put them on the scales. If one of the coins outweighs the other, then it is counterfeit. If the scales remain in equilibrium, then the coin that we do not weigh is a fake.
