Pale toadstool and champignon – similarities, differences?

Both mushrooms are very similar in appearance, since they belong to lamellar fungi and in an embryonic state, when only the cap is visible from the soil, it is easy to confuse them. At a more “solid” age of mushrooms, the differences are already evident: the champignon has a white hat with a grayish tint, the plates are brown; in the toadstool, the cap has a greenish tint, and the plates are white. The main difference between these mushrooms is that the champignon is an edible mushroom, and the pale grebe is a poisonous one. In order not to endanger your life, it is better not to collect the forest mushroom and not eat it, since there is a high probability of confusing it with a pale toadstool.
