The participants in this revolution were the royalists with the king on one side and the English parliament with Cromwell on the other. The goal of the revolution was to overthrow the feudal system in England. The king’s goal was to dissolve parliament and strengthen his own power in the country. The result of the revolution was the victory of the British Parliament, headed by Cromwell. We can say that the bourgeoisie won and the monarchy was defeated. Ultimately, the Cromwell protectorate was established in the country.
