Participants in the first crusade.

Pope Urban II called on the European knights to march to liberate the Holy Land. I will note that before that there was a campaign of the poor, led by Peter the Hermit, which ended deplorably for the Christians of Europe.

The main participants in the I Crusade were:

1. Raimund of Toulouse. He led the army of the Provençals;

2. Bohemond of Tarentum and Tancred. They led the Norman army in southern Italy;

3. Three Brothers of Boulogne. They commanded an army from Lorraine;

4. Army of the French, led by Robert of Flanders.
