Peasant uprising in France

One of the largest peasant uprisings in France was Jacquerie. An uprising broke out in 1358. The reasons for the uprising were the war with England, the economic crisis, the oppressed position of the peasants, etc. All these factors have generated a wave of resentment among the poor. So the uprising became one of the largest in Europe. However, it was suppressed. Despite this, the feudal lords nevertheless developed a fear of peasant unrest.
