Point C is located on a straight line between points A and B, segment A and C is 8 cm, the length of segment CB is 3 cm longer than the length of segment A and C. Find the length of segment A and B.
1) We find out how long the distance from point C to point B is, if it is known that this distance is 3 cm longer than the distance from point A to point C, and the distance from point A to point C is 8 cm.
8 + 3 = 11 cm.
