A) DE = 36, DK is 5p more than KE. Let KE = x, then DK = 5x. x + 5x = 36 -> 6x = 36 -> x = 6cm (KE) DK = 6 × 5 = 30cm.
B) middle DE = 1/2 × 36 = 18cm. Distance to point K 18-KE = 18-6 = 12cm
