Connective tissue functions
1) plastic;

2. Variety of shapes:

The epithelium is of the following types: single-layer, multi-layer, multi-row and transitional.
Types of connective tissue: dense fibrous, loose fibrous, cartilage, bones, blood and lymph.
3. The presence of intercellular substance: in the epithelium is almost absent, and in the connective tissue is quite a lot.
4. Cell shape: epithelial cells are dense in the shape of a cell, connective tissue cells are elongated and elastic.
5. Formed at different stages of embryogenesis: epithelial tissue from the endo- or ectoderm. Connective – from the mesoderm.
