Pollen grain maturation stages.

Initially, the pollen grain is attached to the stigma of the pistil, enveloped in sugary secretions, inflates and sprouts.
Seedlings have the form of a pollen tube formed due to the division of a plant cell. The tube goes inside the embryo sac.
The cell divides into 2 sperm, which move through the tube into the embryonic sac.
As a result, one sperm connects to the egg and inseminates, while the other connects to the main cell.
The insemination is double.
