With the advent of the mass media, various ways and forms of its existence have appeared. Popular culture originated in an industrial society and became one of the ways of educating the majority of previously uneducated people. Workers who became involved in social life and learned to read were able to receive news and leisure. Also, the pluses of the mass media are its versatility, accessibility to the majority. But it does not induce active mental actions and does not carry aesthetic value.
