Possible opponents and allies of Bulgaria in 1914.

By the beginning of 1914, Bulgaria’s foreign policy was difficult, the country had strained relations with all its neighbors after the Second Balkan War. For example, they fought with Turkey twice in 1912-1913, Bulgaria fought with Romania in 1913 and lost fertile Black Sea lands, and back in 1913 fought with Serbia and Greece because of Macedonia. Consequently, Germany remained the most likely ally for Bulgaria, to whose side it went over at the end of 1915 during the First World War, but as a result, three years later, lost part of the land, access to the Aegean Sea.
