Prove: AC = BD.
Proof: consider triangles АCD and АBD, since CD = АB by the property of a parallelogram; and AD is a common leg, then these two triangles are equal: АCD = ABD (due to the equality of the two legs), it follows that AC = BD (as the corresponding elements). Q.E.D.
