Pros and cons of the Phoenician alphabet.

Also, this alphabet was very easy for foreigners to learn, it is very easy to explain that it was adopted by other countries (only some changes were made). Also, one of the main advantages can be called that the alphabet consisted of letters, not cuneiform. But if we talk about the cons, then there were only consonants, but there were no vowels.
