Prove that the divergent or convergent development of groups of living organisms is adaptive. Give examples.

Divergence is a divergence of signs in close systematic groups, for example, a different shape of the forelimb in vertebrates: a human has a hand, a bird has a wing, which arose as an adaptation to a lifestyle. The human hand allows grasping movements, and the wing provides flight.
Convergence is the similarity of traits in organisms that are not directly related, but that have appeared in connection with similar living conditions, lifestyle, etc. For example, a bird’s wing and a butterfly’s wing are flight adaptations, but the bird’s wing is the forelimb, and the butterfly’s wing is the chitinous outgrowths.
