Let’s open the brackets on the right side of the equation and give similar ones:

3x – 1.5 = 2 (x – 0.75) + x;

3x – 1.5 = 2x – 1.5 + x;

3x – 1.5 = 3x – 1.5.

After bringing similar ones on the right side of the equation, the result is the same expression as on the left side of the equation.

The equality 3x – 1.5 = 3x – 1.5 is true for any value of x, therefore, any number is the root of the original equation.
