Providing first aid for injuries of the musculoskeletal system.

Injuries to the musculoskeletal system include: bruises, fractures, sprains, dislocations and subluxations, ligament ruptures. Symptoms of trauma to the musculoskeletal system are: pain, inability to move, changes in the appearance of the limb, joint. With an open fracture, you can see protruding bone fragments.
As first aid, you should: immobilize a person. Give him a comfortable position so that it excludes movement in the affected limb. If this is a back injury, then it is better not to move the person at all until the ambulance arrives.
If a fracture is suspected, a splint is applied. This is a solid, elongated object – a board, a stick, a door. A limb is attached to it and firmly fixed. The splint will prevent broken bones from moving and severing nerves and blood vessels in the wound.
Further, the person must be taken to the emergency department.
