1.C2H6 = 2C + 3H2 – decomposition, obtained carbon;
2. С + 2Н2 = СН4 – compounds, methane is released;
3. CH4 + Cl2 = CH3Cl + HCl – substitution, methane chloride is formed;
4. 2CH3Cl + 2Na = C2H6 + 2NaCl – ethane obtained;
5. С2Н6 = Н2 + Н2С = СН2 – dehydrogenation, ethylene is released;
6. Н2С = СН2 + Н2О = Н3С – СН2 – ОН – hydration, ethyl alcohol was formed.
