Reasons for the adoption of the US Constitution.

After the civil war ended in the country, it was necessary to unite the country and build a new independent state. The constitution was adopted in order to level all citizens at the legislative level, abolish slavery and unite different states into one state. It was also necessary to legislate the creation of three independent branches of government, which was laid down in the constitution. In other words, the constitution was the starting point for building a democratic state.
