Reasons for the victory of the interim government in the February revolution of 1917.

The main reasons for the victory of the February revolution:

1) Fatigue from the war led to the fact that the army, represented by the generals, did not support Nicholas II and advised him to abdicate the throne.

2) The unresolved agrarian, workers’ and national issues forced the people to finally turn their backs on the emperor.

3) Problems in the management system (“ministerial leapfrog”) did not allow to improve the situation either in the rear or at the front, which forced the Duma opposition to lead the popular movement and take power.
