The perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of the lengths of all sides.
We find the perimeter of this rectangle with sides of 3 cm and 5 cm:
P = 3 + 3 + 5 + 5 = 19 cm
The area is found as the length times the width. We get:
S = 3 * 5 = 15 square centimeters
