Regularities of the geographic envelope.

The main source of energy for the geographic shell is the Sun. Radiation from the Sun participates in all possible cycles of living substances, provides all the processes taking place in the geographic envelope.
The main and unchanging patterns of the geographic envelope are:
– integrity (a change in one natural element entails changes in others);
-zonality (changing the components of the geographic envelope from the equator to the poles);
– rhythm (repetition of natural phenomena over and over again);
– cycles of energy and substances.
