The civil war of the period under review is an important stage in the historical development of the world community. The results of the historical event under consideration can be designated: numerous human losses of all warring parties; massive spending on military weapons; amendments to legislative acts, as a result of which slavery was excluded in a number of territories; accelerated development of agriculture and industry.
