Results of the Hundred Years War between France and England.

This war ended in 1453. Ultimately, the French were able to win. So England lost a significant part of the occupied territories, as well as almost all of its possessions in France, except for the port of Calais. After that, a major civil strife between Lancaster and York began in the Kingdom of England. Also, the result of this war was an increase in the role of the infantry on the battlefield, the knightly cavalry began to fade into the background. Standing armies began to appear.
