The basin of the Atlantic Ocean includes the two longest and two deepest rivers on the planet, as well as many other large and small rivers. The two deepest are the Amazon (flows into the western Atlantic) and the Congo (in the east). The longest are the Nile and the aforementioned Amazon. This ocean also includes such rivers as the Mississippi (the largest in North America), Parana, Uruguay, Orinoco (South America), Seine, Garona, Loire, Danube, Dnieper, etc. in Europe.
