Roll 2 dice. What is the probability that one of the dice will roll a 1 and the other rolls a 5?

A big event consists of two small independent ones, here is its formula:
P (C) = P (A) * P (B)

Big event – one of the dice will roll 1, and the other will roll 5
Substitute in the formula and get:
P (C) = first cube 1 and second cube 5
And- multiplication
We get:
P (C) = P (1) * P (5)

To find a small event:
P (A) = favorable outcomes (m) / number of total outcomes (n)

There are 6 outcomes in total, because only 6 digits can appear.
P (b) = 1/6 = 0.17 (1 because we need one of these numbers, these are favorable for us)

Now we substitute in our formula:

P (C) = 0.17 * 0.17 = 0.029
