Mark Antony is an ancient Roman politician and military leader, a member of the second triumvirate (together with Octavian Augustus and Lepidus). Mark Antony fought under Caesar in the Gallic War from 54 BC. first as one of the junior officers, then as legate and commander of the legion. After the Gallic War, he participated in most of Caesar’s military campaigns. In the war against Octavian, Augustus was defeated (Battle of Actium) and committed suicide in Alexandria.
