Roman general friend of Caesar who fought with Octavian Augustus.

His name is Mark Antony. He was a descendant of an ancient, but ignorant family, who nevertheless managed to win a position in society. The personal qualities of Mark Antony allowed him to gain both the glory of a good military leader and a rowdy. Leading friendship with Julius Caesar, after the victories of the latter and the conquest of Gaul, he was able to win the attention of the masses in Rome and subsequently become one of the participants in the second triumvirate, gaining control over significant territories of the Roman state. The lust for power predetermined his future conflict with Octavian.
