Roman province in the northern Black Sea region.

In the northern Black Sea region there was a Roman province, which was called Lesser Scythia. In those years, the lands between the Danube and the Don were considered Great Scythia. Later this region became known as Dobrudja. The main cities there were Silistra and Constanta (then they were called Duristor and Tomis). Until the end of the 3rd century, it was part of the province of Lower Moesia, and later it was called Scythia.
