Royal Reformation in England.

The reformation in England did not proceed in the same way as in western Europe. The reason for the local reformation was the conflict between King Henry 8 and the Pope, who did not approve of the divorce from Catherine. In this connection, the king wanted to get rid of the influence of the Catholic Church. He decides to establish a new Anglican Church in the country. Thus, in England, after a while, the Anglican Church was created, which was directly subordinate to the king himself. This fact is confirmed by the adoption of the “act of supremacy”, which obliged the entire population to confess in the Church of England.
