There are a lot of ways to pollinate plants. Basically, the type of pollination depends on the habitat of the plant. There are the following methods: pollination by insects, wind, water, animals and self-pollination.

Plants with bright large flowers and a strong aroma attract insects and they, collecting nectar, pollinate them. Such plants include many ornamental – tulips, hyacinths, fruit trees during flowering – apples, cherries, peaches.

Plants with small flowers collected in inflorescences are pollinated by the wind. These are almost all cereals – wheat, oats.

Plants that are pollinated with the help of animals have numerous thorns that help the pollen to attach to the wool to get onto another flower, for example, like a string.
