Several differences between ruminants and non-ruminants.

1) Food method. Ruminants chew and regurgitate food several times, digesting it in different chambers in their stomachs. Non-ruminants digest food in one stomach.
2) Ruminants are herbivores, non-ruminants are omnivores (or carnivores).
3) The structure of the stomach. Complicated stomach with several (3 or 4) chambers in ruminants and unicameral in non-ruminants.
4) The length of the digestive system is much longer in ruminants.
5) Also, in ruminants, the small and large intestines are longer.
6) Non-ruminants, unlike ruminants, have enzymes to digest protein.
7) Fangs. Two blunt in ruminants. Four pungent in non-ruminants.
8) Premolar and molar teeth in ruminants work with lateral movements. In non-ruminants – vertical.
9) Ruminants have a large liver. In non-ruminants, it is relatively small.
10) Ruminants spend more time digesting food than non-ruminants.
