Significance and results of the Vienna Congress.

The Congress of Vienna lasted from 1814 to 1815. The main issues that were decided at the congress were very important for the life of European countries, since it was a question of a major redistribution of territories. Austria, according to the results of the congress, was able to regain most of the lost territories, after the war with Napoleon, Prussia received part of Saxony and most of the Rhine and Westphallian regions. Denmark lost Norway. The Russian Empire received Poland, and as a result, Alexander became the first king of Poland.
